Responsible for developing core engineer capabilities in terms of Mobility, Countermobility & Survivability. Specialist HQ to the SAF on all matters pertaining to Combat Engineer Operations. Headquarters Singapore Combat Engineers (HQ SCE) There are two specialists in a section, the section commander and the section 2IC. Unlike the usual infantry sections of seven men, a field engineer section consists of eight men. Each brigade of the army has an organic company of field engineers, deployed at the discretion of the brigade commander, while each infantry battalion has an organic platoon of pioneers to support battalion movement. The Combat Engineers formation consists of two headquarters, a training institute, five active battalions, and ten reservist battalions. The EHQ was renamed HQ Singapore Combat Engineer in 1974 and the commander's designation was changed to Chief Engineer Officer. In April 1970, the Engineer Headquarters (EHQ) was established with MAJ Mitchell as the Senior Engineer Officer. The graduate officers and NCOs from the course formed the nucleus of the SCE.Īs its role became more defined and her responsibilities expanded, the Engineer Wing was renamed to School of Field Engineers and moved from SAFTI (now Pasir Laba Camp) to new premises on Pulau Blakang Mati (now Sentosa) in the same year and subsequently branched out to other camps such as Gillman Camp and Loyang Camp (both now defunct). Upon completion of their course, these two officers, with the Commanding Officer, MAJ George Mitchell, conducted the first Engineer Commanders' Course from April to August 1968.

Two young officers, 2LT Gurcharan Singh and 2LT Chng Teow Hua, were selected to attend a basic engineer officer's course in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, United States. Both the flame and gold models are unobtainable during normal gameplay without the use of mods, being exclusive to Zombie Mode, where they can be obtained by upgrading the standard Mk18.When the Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute (SAFTI) was set up in 1967 as the first military training institute to train officers and non-commissioned officers (NCOs, now known as Specialists), an Engineer Training Wing was incorporated into the plan. The standard model can be found in use by the police and the BRAF, while the desert model can be found in use with the Desert Worms. In terms of differences, the standard and desert models are identical to each other, their only difference being the desert camo on the desert model, while the golden model sports a 4x zoom scope and an extended magazine, and the flame variant has incendiary rounds that sets fire to any zombie, vehicle, or player that it hits. The weapon itself comes in 4 different variants - a standard grey model, a desert model with desert camo, a golden model with a gold paintjob and zoom scope, and a red flame model with flame decals.

Ammo capacity is the highest of any handheld weapon in the game, with each magazine holding 30 rounds each, or 35 rounds each for the golden variant, and with 5 magazines given in limited ammo gamemodes, each Mk18 will come with a total of 150-175 rounds per weapon.

Bullet velocity and drop are also decent, dropping ~1/9 of a stud per 100 studs and a bullet velocity of ~200 studs/s. With a fire rate of ~780 rounds per minute, this gives the MK18 an average DPS (damage per second) of around 286~585%. In terms of damage, the Mk18 will deal around 22% of damage with body shots or up to 45% with headshots. The Mk18, much like its real life counterpart, serves as a standard issue, general purpose weapon with mediocre stats all across the board. It can be found in the arsenals of most major BR occupations (Police, Brick Rigs Armed Forces, Desert Worms), and for good reason, being an allrounder when it comes to damage, firepower, and range. The Mk 18, also known in game as the assault rifle or the AR, is one of the first weapons implemented into Brick Rigs.
